• Good skin care routine and a primer are the keys to a good base.

• We recommend applying concealer after foundation, but of course that’s a matter of taste.

• Apply concealer as desired and then blend it in with a concealer brush or make-up sponge.

• Tips on how you can use your concealer:
  
  - Lighten shady sections of the face, such as under the eyes and nostrils.
  
  - Accentuate your eyes by applying under the brow bone and in the outer corner.
  
  - Create contours by applying along the bridge of the nose and on cheekbones, forehead and the tip of your chin.
  
  - Use as a primer on the eyelids.

• Finish with That Dewy Look setting spray or That Extra Hydration.

• How can I stop my concealer from settling into fine lines/wrinkles?
  Well-moisturised skin is the key to achieving lovely, even makeup that doesn't settle into fine lines. IT'S ICONIC Concealer is high-coverage, so it's also important to set the concealer with a setting powder.

• Should I apply concealer before or after foundation?
  That's up to you! That said, we find that our concealer works best when applied after your foundation.

• Why does the skin under my eyes look dry when I use concealer?
  It could be due to several things. You may not have prepped your skin enough; well-moisturised skin is the key to successful makeup blending. Another reason may be that you have used too much product (the concealer or the setting powder). Always remember that “a little goes a long way"!

• Is IT'S ICONIC Concealer moisturising?
  Yes! It contains several active ingredients that moisturise, protect, strengthen and even out your skin.

• Can I use concealer all over my face?
  Of course, you can use your concealer however you wish! That said, we recommend that you only apply your concealer to a few select spots you want to conceal and/or highlight. A concealer is often slightly thicker and more opaque than foundation, making it ideal for selective application.

• Can you put concealer on your eyelids?
  You can! Many people like to use concealer as a primer for their eye makeup. The advantage of this is that the concealer gives you a smooth surface to work with and enhances the pigments in your eyeshadow.

• How light should my concealer be?
  That's entirely up to you! We've paired our foundations and concealers with each other so you can achieve the same skin tone, but the concealer has a slightly lighter shade. If you prefer a lighter concealer, we recommend going one step down in the same category of undertones.
  For example, if you use 4W foundation but would like a much lighter concealer, we recommend trying 3W.

• Do I need to use a makeup brush when applying concealer?
  No, that choice is yours. The most common ways to apply concealer are with a brush, a sponge or the fingertips. The most important thing is that you apply the product with care, as the skin under the eyes is very thin.

• Do I need to use setting powder over my concealer?
  It's not a “must", but if you have very fine lines under your eyes, we recommend that you do so to achieve the best results. This also applies if you use your concealer to cover redness or scars. The advantage of a setting powder is that it binds the product to the skin so that it doesn't move.

• Can I use concealer for contouring/highlighting?
  Absolutely! Many people use a lighter shade to brighten areas of the face they want to highlight, as well as a darker shade to create shadows and add dimension to the face.

• Do I need to prep my skin before applying foundation/concealer?
  Well-moisturised skin is the key to a lovely, even base. If you also want your makeup to last all day, it's important to have a good primer that suits your skin.

• What's the difference between concealer and foundation?
  A foundation is made to be used all over the face, while a concealer is meant to be applied on select areas. That's why foundation formulas tend to be lightweight, while concealer is thicker and more opaque.

• Are IT'S ICONIC foundation and concealer perfume-free?
  Yes, they are.

• Do IT'S ICONIC foundation and concealer contain any silicones?
  Both the foundation and the concealer are free of cyclic silicones.

• Do IT'S ICONIC foundation and concealer contain talc or parabens?
  No.

• Where should I apply concealer?
  That's entirely up to you, but here are some tips we usually use:

• Under the eyes, to brighten them up and give you a well-rested look.
• Around the nostrils, to even out redness.
• The middle of the chin and forehead, to illuminate the entire face.

• Is IT'S ICONIC concealer very opaque?
  Yes, it offers a high degree of coverage - but it's easy to blend and achieve an even result.

• Is IT'S ICONIC concealer gluten-free?
  It contains: CAPRYLYL DIMETHICONE ETHOXY GLUCOSIDE originating from wheat and maize. Only gluten ingested by mouth can be harmful to persons with coeliac disease, so makeup and skincare products are safe even if they contain gluten. When it comes to lipstick, traces do end up in your mouth. This means it's just like food; if there's gluten in the product, you will wind up ingesting it.
